[Spread-users] Building Spread for Windows using gcc?

I haven't yet done this.

Is there anything special I need to know?

I installed Cygwin from the net setup.exe; I also picked both gcc 
(3.2) and gcc2 (2.95.3) as well as mingw, make, etc.
