[Spread-users] Spread Message Configuration

It seems to me you are not using a correct broadcast or multicast address
that works on your network. (192.168.1.253 does not seem like a correct broadcast address).

My guess is that 192.168.1.255 may work, and if not 224.1.2.3 may work if your
network supports multicast.

Otherwise, just put each daemon in its own segment, and that would surely work.
