[Spread-users] Missing -fPIC for 64 bit architectures

Hey,

I've experienced linking problems with spread on 64 bit linux systems:

/usr/bin/ld: /homes/jwienke/local/lucid/x86_64/lib/libspread.a(sp.to): 
relocation R_X86_64_32 against `.rodata.str1.8' can not be used when 
making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC

This can of course be fixed with the proposed flag. I've added this in 
line 49 of the Makefile in libspread.

Is this issue known?
