[Spread-users] SPREAD vs AMQP

    During the course of evaluating Spread for our systems monitoring and
event management services for a SOA/RESTful style system and AMQP (Advanced
Message Queing Protocol) for some application traffic, I see a LOT of
overlap between these systems & concepts. Would be very interested to hear
opinions or gain from any experiences people might have with both. Almost
seems I could replace one with the other but I expect their are
architectural drivers that would cause me to select one over the other for
particular needs - I just can't yet readily identify what those drivers
would be.

  Any ideas?
