[Spread-users] no daemon

Hi,
I have installed spread in my machine. But not able to run it properly
There is no process name after I do $./spread in "ps -ax" output which
is identical to spread daemon. and even utilities like spuser and
spmonitor are saying that spread daemon is not working. whats wrong. Is
there any IRC channel where I can ask all these things.
