I am new to spread and am trying to setup spread on two test systems. Both
the systems are on the same network

The Spread_Segment section in the spread.conf file on both the systems is
as below

Spread_Segment {

Spread executes successfully on the machine2 , however the execution of
spread on the machine1 fails with the following error in testlog

Conf_init: My proc id ( is not in configuration
Exit caused by Alarm(EXIT)

Please note the ip address ( in the error message. This is
different form the actual ip address ( which is mentioned
in the conf file.

>From the previous postings, I had a feeling that using different port
number may solve the problem, I have tried using other ports as well but
have been unsuccessful so far. I am unable to understand how is the ip
address being picked up.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
