[Spread-users] Acceptable retransmission count

Hi,

One important difference I see between Greg's setup and Theo's is that 
Greg's is using
3 different segements. Greg - is this a wide area network setup?

Also, if you print the status at all three daemons of yours, you would 
be able to see
which path looses the messages and that may give you a clue to what is 
going on.
If it is a wide area network then this is totally acceptable and there 
is no problem.
Otherwise, if your network structure allows to use one segment instead 
of three
then you can reduce the number of actual messages on your network by half.

Both monitor traces were interesting to me (Theo's showing 60+ days).
