[Spread-users] First steps with Spread : can't get it run :(

FWIW I get the same error as soon as I use EventLogFile, though unlike
Alexandre I'm not running as root, and I don't have 127.0.0.1 in every
segment (which I remember reading is not recommended).

Runs fine when not using EventLogFile, I'm running it as
spread >>spread.log 2>&1 &
but spread.log remains empty which does worry me that I'll miss any
potential error messages.
There definitely seems to be a problem with EventLogFile.
This is using version 3.17.
