[Spread-users] unexpected SP_poll() behavior in spread v3.17.0

Hello,

Performing tests on both MS Win2k and Linux indicates the spread v3.17.0
SP_poll() function continues to return 0, in a client application, after
the spread server has been shutdown while the SP_receive() function
returns CONNECTION_CLOSED.

 Is this the expected behavior for SP_poll()?

Attached is a version of SP_poll() that behaves like SP_receive() when
the spread server connection is lost.

Is this a useful update to spread?
