[Spread-users] A relevant paper

Hi,

I wanted to point to the Wackamole and Spread lists a relevant
tech report that was recently put on our web site:
"N-Way Fail-Over Infrastructure for Survivable Servers and Routers".

The paper describes Wackamole's design, algorithm and performance.

It is relevant to the Spread list because this application was also
built to demonstrate how to write correct applications in the Spread
environment. It might be useful to look at the algorithmic engine
in the Wackamole code for this purpose even if there is no interest
in Wackamole itself.
