Yes, I've looked there, but couldn't decide between writing against
the API versus and using a Perl/Expect.pm script.  If another
spmonitor has been written, I'm probably best off using the kill
mechanism (unless the C API in the Spread scalable wide-area
enhancements is very similiar).  Regardless, thanks for the
information!  I like the solution for Spread 3 versus 4 scalability
issue.
