Sorry, I'm a bit tired, the condition I was using for checking for error was if < 0 as the docs say.

You're right: ACCEPT_SESSION -> 1

But still, is it normal to get failure with Accept Session as the message?

Another different thing, for ensuring that you're really disconnected from Spread, is it necessary to loop till you get the right result back? otherwise you will end up with Name not Unique.

Regards,

I'm not familiar with the Perl module, but in the C version the #define ACCEPT_SESSION, indicating a successful return from SP_connect, is actually "1" not "0".

Hi,

I'm refactoring a web application that uses Spread as the message bus, and I'm getting the following problem: Failed to connect to Spread daemon: Accept session

And the app. is unable to send data. I think it has something to do with the connecting and disconnecting of the Spread, but basically from the documentation, Accept session should be 0 as a sign that everything is fine, but still I can't send a message.

Using Perl modules Spread::Message -> Spread
