[Spread-users] I would like to take a stab at creating support for IPv6 in spread

IPv6 support is the next major feature Spread Concepts is targeting for public release. We’ve already developed a couple of internal versions that support either IPv4 or IPv6. We haven’t yet determined an ETA for the next release.

Cheers!

Ideally it would be a stack that would support both IPv4 and IPv6.
Is there anybody attempting this right now so I don't waste my time?

From what I see all the low level communication is in data_link.c, but is assumes a 32 bit address so there would be other interfaces that would have to change. I also think that the configuration file parser would have to be updated.
