Also, I noticed that spread apparently crashed on Monday, September
18. Just immediately before the crash, all the logs on one segment
look like this:
Membership id is ( -1062683843, 1190126481)
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] --------------------
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] Configuration at box11 is:
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] Num Segments 2
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] 0 192.168.1.255 4803
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] 3 192.168.2.255 4803
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] box21 192.168.2.1
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] box22 192.168.2.2
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] box23 192.168.2.3
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] ====================
And on the other segment, they all look like this:
Membership id is ( -1062683843, 1190126481)
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] --------------------
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] Configuration at box11 is:
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] Num Segments 2
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] 4 192.168.1.255 4803
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] box11 192.168.1.1
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] box12 192.168.1.2
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] box13 192.168.1.3
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] box14 192.168.1.4
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] 0 192.168.2.255 4803
[Tue 18 Sep 2007 14:41:20] ====================
It looks like the member ship got screwed up somehow, almost as if
the network was suddenly partitioned or something.
Any ideas?
Thanks again,
Matt
