[Spread-users] Perl module removed in 4.0.0?

I'm in the process of getting ready to upgrade from 4.0.0rc2 to
4.0.0.

I just noticed that there is no perl subdirectory in the 4.0.0
source tar file (whereas I believe there was in rc2).  Has support
for Perl been dropped or migrated to a separate package?

Should I just use the Perl modules released with rc2, or copy the
whole sub-folder and rebuild?
