These count the number of packets that had to be retransmitted. U stands
for unicast retransmissions: S stands for broadcasts to the segment: and B
stands for global broadcast (system wide) retransmissions.

Subject: [Spread-users] A couple of basic questions

I've got a couple of simple questions I'm hoping the list can answer
for me.

1. Can someone explain, or point me to an explanation, of the various
ports a Spread network uses? For example, my LAN-only configuration
uses port 3333, but I've also seen traffic on 3334. What protocols are
used on these ports? And does Spread use any other ports?

2. What do the "u retrans", "s retrans", and "b retrans" statistics
from the
spmonitor program count?

Apologies in advance if this info is in the manual or FAQ somewhere.
I couldn't find it.
