[Spread-users] Jumbo frames support

Hello,
I'm looking into using jumbo frames (9K) with spread 3.17.2 to reduce
latency on large data packets. 
Does anyone have experience with it?
Is it supposed to give any performance boost?
Other than changing MAX_PACKET_SIZE define in data_link.h, does it
require any further code modifications?
