[Spread-users] Spread daemon suicide

Hi,
I'm using Spread 3.17.1.  I've been using it quite happily on a particular set
of hardware for some time.  However, recently I'm trying to move my
configuration to a new set of hardware (much faster machines, slightly
different network configuration).

The Spread daemon's get the error below and bomb out:
 Discard_packets: packet 1 not exist
 Exit caused by Alarm(EXIT)

This happens at daemon start time, before I even start any applications that
connect to the Spread daemon.  It appears to happen once a critical mass of
on-line Spread daemons is reached (ie with only a couple daemons running,

Does anyone have any idea what could cause that error?
