AW: [Spread-users] Send_new_packets: created packet 25 already ex ist 2

We increased MAX_SESSION_MESSAGES to 5000 as we had
a few problems with applications not responding fast
enough during high load peaks.

Additionally, the group timeout parameters were divided by
5 (it's a 100MBit/s LAN setup and we need a faster response
in case of node failures).

I just recognized that there was a "Configuration" message
just before the failure without a real change in the configuration
(i.e. the listed hosts were the same). Perhaps this is part
of the problem?

What I'm really concerned with is that our applications received
corrupted data when (or most probably: just before) this error
occured.

PS:
I forgot to mention the spread version: we use 3.17.3 with
the patch for the buffer overflow in groups.c.
