[Spread-users] Java library DROP JVM 1.1 support?

Hi,

Based on a recent problem/bug report, I'd like to use some features of 
more modern Java JVM's and drop support for Java 1.1 (so 1.2 or higher 
would be required) 

Eventually we will want to drop support for anything prior to 1.4 and 
use the new NIO and advanced sockets calls to improve the Java 
performance, but that is further off as the code isn't written yet.

Does anyone have a problem with that or a reason we should continue to 
support 1.1?
