Dear Spread Users,

According to a note on the web a Conf_init error should look like:
Conf_init: My proc id (127.0.0.1)

My error is coming out:
Conf_init: My proc \ýÿ¿9H@Ì5 at _@ is not in configuration

Does anyone know why the machine name/ip is showing up cryptic instead of 
clear text like the we example?
