[Spread-users] Future of the priority flag

According to man SP_connect:

       The  priority  is  a  0/1 flag for whether this connection
       will be a "Priority" connection or not. Currently this has
       no effect.

Are there plans to change this in the future, or does it only have
historic importance?  I'm trying to figure out what to do with this
flag in the Python wrapper API (which is coming along fine!).  If it's
a historical remnant, I'll leave it out; if it's a planned future
addition, I'll leave it in (but provide a default).

BTW, is anybody else on this list interested in using Spread from
Python?  I'd be happy to share our wrapper.
