[Spread-users] mod_log_spread and RELIABLE_MESS

I'm using mod_log_spread on some busy web servers. I plan to increase
WATER_MARK and MAX_SESSION_MESSAGES in spread_params.h. It would bother
me for apache to take a performance hit because of spread, but it would
not
bother me at all to occasionally lose log messages when the load was
high.

So here's a simple question: is there any advantage in having
mod_log_spread send messages as UNRELIABLE_MESS rather than
RELIABLE_MESS?
