[Spread-users] Public CVS?

There are 26,673 projects on SF. I would say that the majority of those that
I browsed through have anoncvs open. Note: I know that isn't a real good
number, but reality is that the majority of projects out there do have it.
Not having public anon cvs is not the norm.
I want it because:
#1. I don't want to have to ask for an account just to get access to the
latest source code.
#2. I want to be able to be anonymous.
#3. It is part of my belief system that every truly successful OSS project
has it.

I view CVS as a tool to allow developers to work together concurrently.

I cannot get access to the anonymous public CVS. How can we achieve that?

And my point is that there are 6 people out there that are voting (in
consensus style) that they want public CVS.

This is what Apple does for access to the Darwin CVS tree. That is
acceptable because a generated account is just as anonymous.
