Hi,
I have released a new version of spread to correct two small but
significant problems in the libraries and to add a new compile time
constant to the C library so applications can conditionally compile
against several versions of the API. This was necessitated by the new
SP_version function provided in 3.15.1.
The two bugs are a crash in the Java library which prevents it from
connecting. This was reported and fixed by Julien Dufour a few weeks ago
on this list. The second is a memory leak in the Perl interface which was
figured out by Theo Schlossnagle.
There are no other changes in the code (except updating the version
numbers and date strings) because i currently don't know of any other bugs
which are outstanding.
For details see the Readme.txt file or the list of changes on the
website http://www.spread.org/changelog.html
If you have any questions or problems please email me or the spread-users
list. Thanks,
Jonathan
