[Spread-users] Help for a beginner

Dear Cristiano,

Your computer is setup to think that its ip address is the local host address 127.0.0.1
You can fix it by either one of the two following things:

1. Correct the setup of your computer to the real ip address

and/or

2. run  "spread -n 200.132.234.40" assuming the problem occurs on 200.132.234.40

In any case, it is advisable to reduce the length of your names in the spread.conf file to:
lab1pc4
lab1pc5
lab1pc6
instead of these too long names lab1pc4.ccei....
Note - this change is only to the spread.conf file.
If you do that then you can execute "spread -n lab1pc4"

    Let me know if that does not solve the problem.
